| I came with my fiancee for a pre-theatre dinner and the service was excellent. The staff made the effort to take our order ahead of a large group to ensure that we arrived in time for the show. The food was amazing and all the staff were very friendly. Thank you all for a lovely start to our evening. |

| You did say others had told you the spaghetti carbonara was the best in London --I came in last Thursday evening and I agree! My colleague had the saltimbocca and was similarly impressed . You are good hosts and made us welcome and feel like friends. |

| We took some friends for a special meal at Il Posto last weekend and had a wonderful dinner. Lucca, Salvatore and the staff were very friendly and attentive (as usual) and made us feel very welcome. The food and wine were excellent. If the angel hair pasta with artichokes and bacon is on the Specials menu I would urge you to try it!I keep going back to Il Posto and in my opinion it is the best Italian restaurant I have been to in London. |

| Awful experience at Il Posto ahead of Saturday afternoon theatre. As a table of 7, we were treated badly and rudely, I can only assume because we did not order wine. Miserable and angry staff waited on us. My lunch was dissapointing although the rest of my group enjoyed their meals so I think I just had bad luck. On not adding a tip to the bill due to the miserable and rude service, a 10% tip was demanded of us before we left - apparently it was compulsary despite this not being written anywhere in the menu. Will not go here again. |

| Sorry, very disappointed in the "welcome" we received on Friday night.Having read the reviews and checked that it was okay to have table post theatre,I was expecting to spend pleasant evening over our meal. Instead we were made to feel imposing by female staff member, main course came before starter finished, and whole thing took less than half an hour. |

| I love eating at Il Posto - I've never yet had a dish that disappointed and the service is genuinely friendly and attentive. Home made desserts excel and there is a good choice of food for every budget whether it's cheap and cheerful or time to push the boat out. |

| Read good reviews on Tripadvisor about Il Posto. We were not disapointed. While looking at the menu out front who I figure was the owner came out and greeted us and handed us the restraunts card and shook my hand and walked back in. When we walked in he greated us again and seated us right away. The food and service was great. It was a nice relaxing meal and we were not rushed. On the way out he shook our hand again thanking us for our business. We will definatly go back on our next trip. |

| We visited Il Posto 29th December 2007. We had seats booked for a theatre show at 7.30pm and arrived near the restaurant at about 6.30. We explained that we had to get to the show and were told that was ok. We had two courses and a lovely bottle of wine for a very reasonable price. The food (bruschetta was the best we have ever had)and service were excellent and we will definitely come back again. |

| I absolutely adore this restaurant. I come here everytime I am going to a show. The food is amazing, the staff are amazing, it is quite possibly the best restaurant I have ever been too. So much so I celebrated my 30th birthday there with 20 or so friends and were catered for superbly, complete with me getting a surprise cake! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! This by far the very best Italian ristorante I have had the pleasure of dining at. You are made to feel as if you are a regular customer. The service is prompt, courteous and at the same time relaxed!
The food is magic, really heavenly delicious.
I'm visiting again for sure, so will the many friends I have told about this little gem.

Service was great, food was fresh and very well prepared, price reasonable. Best Italian food I've had outside of Italy.
